Bike Overhaul is a free-to-use mod created by Adriansito for the widely known action role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077. This utility improves the experience of driving bikes in the base game, altering parameters such as top speed, acceleration, and handling, and applying other minor changes.

Bike Overhaul intends to make the driving of bikes as enjoyable as driving cars. It adds pre-determined tweaks, and it offers two versions: normal and boosted. The mod also allows users to edit the .tweak files to adjust the brakes to their liking. This mod requires you to install Cyberpunk 2077 REDmod to work.

Faster and smoother driving

With the massive success of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and the enormous hype generated by Cyberpunk 2077, expectations were at an all-time high for CD Projekt Red. However, the sci-fi RPG’s launch was a big disaster as the game was unfinished and riddled with bugs. Still, the game continued to improve and has earned newfound attention from new players and passionate modders.   

Bike Overhaul is among the many mods by players who enjoyed the game despite its rough launch. Unlike Let There Be Flight, this mod focuses on improving the bikes. It introduces significant changes to bike physics and specs to make them feel faster and easier to handle. All Kusanagi, Apollo, and Arch bikes have better top speeds, acceleration, and handling. These adjustments are more dramatic in the boosted version. 

The mod makes bikes bounce less and makes V lean with the bike. However, it only offers limited ability to make custom adjustments, so your experience with the mod can vary from others. Some players find the adjustments make the bikes accelerate too fast while others are satisfied with the changes. Also bear in mind that this mod is not compatible with vehicle overhaul mods.
